前文のпесню заводила про степного, сизого орла,に続いて、заводилаにかかるпро句×２です。

про того, которого любила, про того, чьи письма берегла.

про：about【対格支配】　беречь：大事にする【8b/b г-ж型（мочьと一緒）】
こちらも動詞の主語Катюшаは省略されてます。

＜関係代名詞который＞
чтоは先行詞に（抽象的な）「もの」「こと」しか取れないのに対して、которыйは万能な関係代名詞です。「もの」でも「人」でもOK。性と数は先行詞に合わせ（代入するんだから当然ですよね）、格は関係詞節内の役割に合わせます。

＜万能な先行詞тот＞
「もの」でも「人」でも、先行詞に困ったらтотというパーツを使えばいいです。
例えば今回は「(彼女が) 好きだった人について」をロシア語に直すのですが、この文の先行詞「人」をあらわすのに、わざわざчеловекみたいな具体的な名詞を持ってくると文章が重くなる（余計な情報が増えて嫌）ので、簡潔にするために先行詞тотが使われてるって感じですかね（このтотは、指されている内容の性・数に合わせます。今回は男の人（彼氏）を指しているので、単数・男性（活動体）です。そしてпроが対格支配なので、тотを活動体対格にしてтогоです）。
「前置詞＋тот＋, 関係詞」はよくある形ですね。

＜関係代名詞чей＞
英語のwhoseと似た感じで、関係代名詞として使えます。чейは修飾先の名詞に性数格を合わせます。
…まぁ、которыйを生格にして使ってしまえばчейは不要なんですけどね。

про того, (Катюша) которого любила,
про того, чьи (Катюша) письма берегла.

которого→単数対格（性数は先行詞に一致するので、男性活動体扱い。格はлюбилаの直接目的語なので対格）
чьи→複数対格（性数格はどれも被修飾語のписьма（複数対格）に一致）

＜訳＞
（彼女が）愛する人についての（歌）、（彼女が）大事にする手紙をくれた人についての（歌）。

朝日の光がじりじりと周りの世界を焼いているときでも、窪地をじっと見つめていて、心が輝かしく晴れ渡っていた。まだ窪地の中は暗かった。出力と複雑さの点で驚くほど優れていて、異界の曲がりくねった形をしている強いエンジンが、闇から光に突き出ていた。妙な姿でぼんやりしていて、名状しがたい光景だった。犬の群れが、はるか下方のくぼ地の底で動かず倒れている死体をめぐって争っているのが聞こえた。

全訳

窪地の反対側のへりの向こうには、平らで奇妙な光景が広がっていて、大きなUFOが墜落していた。腐敗と死が火星人をむしばんでいたとき、濃い大気の中火星人が操っていたUFOだ。死が来るのは遅すぎた。頭上のカラスの声を聞いて、もう戦えない巨大な戦闘ロボを見上げた。ぼろぼろに裂かれた赤い生肉の断片が、プリムローズ・ヒルの頂上でひっくり返った操縦席からぶら下がっていた。
