本日の写真は台湾の夜の街並みです。

同室のパキスタン人４人と日本人３人（わたし含む）で、近くにあったネパールのカレー屋さんに行きました。店員のネパール人はヒンディー語もマスターしてるっぽくて、パキスタン人たちは普通にウルドゥー語で注文してましたね（やっぱ第一言語じゃないからか、ところどころ通じてないときがあったけど、英語を交えたウルドゥー語にすぐ切り替えてて面白かった）。僕たちの分もいろいろ注文してくれたけど、何が注文されてるのかまったくわかんなくてちょっと怖かった

パキスタン人たちは大変男女の出会いに熱心なようで（単身で日本に働きに来てるわけですからね）、スマホには見たこともないような大量のマッチングアプリが入っていました。日本人の子はみんなかわいいとかなんとか。彼らのウルドゥー語の単語で唯一聞き取れたのが「ティンデル（Tinder）」なの嫌すぎる
※トランプをやったときにJokerを「ジョオケル」のように言っていたので、erを「エル」のように読むのはわかってました
※わたしのなまえ「こうた」は「kor(i)ta」と発音されました。ouの母音連続が不自然なのはわかるけど、O（長母音）をつかって普通に「kOta」と言ってくれればよいのに…。rも母音だけどね、ふしぎ…。
