しばらくの間オギルヴィーナちゃんはこれがどういう意味なのかもわからなかった。熱が過剰だったのにもかかわらず、その巨大なかたまりのそばの穴の中に「物体」をもっとはっきり見るためにはい下りていった。その時になってもあの子は本体の冷却のせいで灰の欠片がはがれ落ちてるかもしれないって思ってたけど、灰が円筒の端から落ちていることに気づいて、そう考えるのをやめた。
